Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Nicholasville, Kentucky

Are you an experienced accounting professional seeking a dynamic opportunity in Nicholasville, Kentucky? We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team and take a key role in managing financial operations, reporting, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and other analytical reports.

• Reconciliations: Support general ledger and subsidiary ledger reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

• Accounts Payable & Payroll: Process A/P and payroll transactions efficiently, contributing to seamless operations.

• Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate records.

• Audit Support: Collaborate on annual audits and provide requested information to stakeholders.

• Accounts Receivable Monitoring: Oversee daily A/R balances, reconciling deposits, adjustments, and billings.

• Year-End Compliance: Assist with preparing W-2, 1099, and 1095-C forms.

• Billing Oversight: Manage semi-annual billing statements and miscellaneous A/R accounts.

• Month-End Close: Assist with month-end procedures, including general ledger entries and journal adjustments.

• Special Projects: Undertake projects as assigned by leadership to support organizational goals.

Requirements

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is mandatory.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role is required.

• Must have proficiency in Account Reconciliation.

• Experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation is needed.

• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations is essential.

• Candidate must have a solid understanding of General Ledger management.

• The ability to handle Journal Entries is crucial.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary.

• Experience with Month End Close procedures is required.
