• Receives general supervision and direction from the Public Works Director, Utilities Superintendent, Water Supervisor, Wastewater Supervisor, or designee. Installs, operates, repairs, and maintains all Citys utilities.
• Repairs main utility lines.
• Operates and maintains various equipment and tools.
• Responsible for adequately addressing and fixing system breakdowns as in residential and commercial water leaks.
• Installs, maintains, repairs, and reads water meters.
• Dig water and sewer trenches and assist with cleaning, repairing, and maintenance of the municipal water production storage and delivery system.
• Assist and participate in water and wastewater sample collection for compliance with state and federal regulations.
• General knowledge of plumbing work.
• Responds to emergency calls for water, sewer lines, and manholes issues.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.
