Goodwill of North Georgia E-Commerce Driver- (Warehouse) in Norcross, Georgia

What you’ll be doing:

As an E-Commerce Driver, you will be responsible for collecting and transporting selected/sealed donated goods to the e-commerce storage location.

  • Operates company owned vehicle on routes for delivery of products marked for our e-commerce platform

  • Verify the contents of products/inventory against appropriate documentation

  • Sort, scan and load all products while adhering to standard operating procedures

  • Ensure security of all company assets including merchandise and property before and after delivery

  • Ensure deliveries and pickups are on time and follows daily route as assigned

  • Remain in compliance with and follow established traffic and transportation procedures and laws

  • Shares knowledge, issues and/or other information with e-commerce team, management and other employees as needed

What we’re looking for:

Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience with local or in-town delivery transportation

  • Have and maintain a valid Georgia issued driver’s license while maintaining a good driving record and meeting the standards of the agency’s insurance carriers

  • Possess good oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills

  • Be able to work independently as well as in a team environment

  • Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to demonstrate sound judgement

Preferences:

  • Prior military and/or non-profit experience

Working Environment Conditions/Requirements:

  • Be able to work in all types of conditions including heat, cold and dust.

  • Be able to meet all physical requirements to perform the duties of the position including the ability to bend, reach, grasp, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time as well as the ability to push, pull and lift up to 30lbs with or without accommodation.

  • Be able to work flexible hours, including weekends
