Adecco Search is recruiting on behalf of our client in the Washington, DC Metro area for the position of Lead Low Voltage Technician to join a dynamic telecommunications team.

The successful candidate must have experience with complex, IP based, low-voltage systems installations and service. Systems include access control, IP & analog video, nurse call, intrusion, structured cabling and other types of low-voltage and network-based systems. This job will require attention to detail, professional appearance and behavior, excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to work both self-directed and as a member of a crew team. Most work is completed during a normal 8-hour day, but all employees must be available for after-hours and weekend as required. Daily travel and some overnight travel is required.

Mon-Fri 7a-430p with little OT. 100% on site at different client locations within 60 miles.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Install, analyze, diagnose, and repair complex integrated low-voltage systems, including troubleshooting issues that may be related to network architecture, protocols or other network related factors.

  • Complete major systems integrations, including system commissioning.

  • Communicate with subcontractors and coordinate work with subcontractors as required to ensure efficient and timely completion of work.

  • Conduct all customer interactions to drive a high degree of customer satisfaction. Identify and communicate opportunities to improve the value we can provide to customers, including communicating potential leads to appropriate Integration Center resources.

  • Complete all required paperwork in a timely and complete manner.

  • Maintain all company property and supplies, including but not limited to vehicles, tools, uniforms, parts and documentation.

JOB SKILLS

  • Access control and IP video hardware and software installation experience are a must.

  • Software House, Lenel, Identicard, Vanderbilt, Exacq, Milestone, Axis, American Dynamics, certifications are strongly preferred.

  • Proficiency in network architecture and protocols, database management, and fiber optics.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including demonstrated ability to interact and communicate with customers in a way that will best drive customer commitment and satisfaction.

EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma or GED

EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years Security industry experience

  • 3+ years in a lead-technician or other leadership role.

Pay Details: $66,560.00 to $83,200.00 per year
