What’s the job?

Production Planning/Scheduling:

• Schedule production operations as directed, organizing sequences accurately to meet delivery requirements

• Align with the Production team daily to ensure the schedule is attainable and on track

• Review active production orders weekly and at month-end and ensure timely completion of open orders as needed or advise the Production team of required actions

• Coordinate required adjustments to delivery time frames of projects as needed with clear and concise communication to Project Managers and Planners

• Track the status of each scheduled production order to identify past due operations and coordinate follow-up with Production Supervisors to resolve

• Review all production orders and work with Production Planners and Operators to resolve any discrepancies found

• As required, identify discrepancies between raw material, and finished quantities, and explore corrective actions

• Actively participate in tracking of plant KPI’s

• Serve as backup Scheduler for Fabrication as needed

Project and Process Improvement Activities:

• Support initiatives to improve service metrics, enhance working capital efficiency, and achieve cost control targets

• Provide ad hoc data analysis as requested

• Support the new product development process through participation on NPD teams, work on product introductions, sourcing/production transitions, etc.

• As required, support Production and Handlers to issue raw material, receive finished quantities, complete and close production orders

• Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience-

• 2+ yearsExperience in a manufacturing environmentRequired-
