Job Description :

SimIS seeks a Trainer to deliver training to the new program teams (Program Directors, Project Coordinators, Requirements Managers and other team members) who will manage NATO capability programs within the Common Funded Governance Model. Common-funded capabilities contribute to NATO’s collective effectiveness by providing the necessary resources that serve the interests of the Alliance as a whole

The successful candidate will provide a resume that demonstrates experience in the following tasks/requirements:

Specific Requirements:

  • Train new personnel assigned to ongoing Common-funded capabilities programs. Develop, update and deliver a 3-day CAPDEV Newcomers Orientation course.

  • Coordinate with the Program Management Office (PMO) Best Practice Section to incorporate lessons learned, updated procedures and best practices to the training modules.

  • Cooperate with the PMO program coordinators in coaching and mentoring program teams on a continuous basis.

  • Cooperate with STRATMAN P3 Management in the P3 & Capability delivery course, as well as advise on annual Industry Best Practice Training for HQ SACT.

  • Conduct Training Requirements Analyses and Training Needs Solutions for Common Funded Capability Delivery Governance Model (CFCDGM) related training.

  • Work with Distributed Learning in the proposal and delivery of CFCDGM related training for the Joint Advanced Distributed Learning (JADL) platform

    Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree (desirable Master’s degree) in a related field.

  • At least 3 years of experience in developing and/or leading training related to force development programming.

  • Minimum of 3 years working in a national defense organization, a multinational organization or, ideally, NATO Command or Force Structure.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Project Management for capability development and implementation.

  • Certified qualification in Program and Project Management (Axelos or similar methodologies)
