Actalent Certified Medical Assistant in NORFOLK, Virginia

Description:

**Mixture of Clinical and Clerical

Triage of incoming patients by obtaining vital signs, chief complaint, reconcile medication list, reconcile allergies and prepare patient for the visit.

Scan upcoming appointments and obtain all pertinent medical records and test relating to the office visit – ED records, CT/MRI reports, operative reports and consult report.

Skills:

certified medical assistant or registered medical assistant

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma plus successful completion of a Medical Assistant program and certification (RMA or CMA).

  • Completion of BLS class and re-certify every 2 years.
