Robert Half HRIS Analyst in Norfolk, Virginia

Description

We are in search of a diligent HRIS Analyst for our client located in Norfolk, Virginia. This role primarily focuses on managing and maintaining our HRIS software (Success Factor). The person appointed will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of the HR systems, analyzing HR data, and suggesting improvements to HR processes. This role will provide crucial support in the area of HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems and requires proficiency in Power Query, Power Pivot, and Workforce Analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the HRIS software (Success Factor) to ensure its optimal functioning

• Ensure the integrity of HR systems by regularly checking, updating, and correcting data entries

• Analyze HR data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement

• Develop and present data-driven insights and recommendations to improve HR processes

• Work closely with the HR team to understand their needs and tailor the use of HRIS software accordingly

• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the HRIS system

• Conduct regular system audits and prepare detailed reports on HR data

• Use Power Query and Power Pivot Excel for data analysis and reporting

• Conduct Workforce Analysis to understand workforce trends and inform HR strategies

• Train other HR staff on the use of HRIS systems, Power Query, and Power Pivot Excel.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources Administration

• Proficiency in HRIS - Human Resources Information Systems

• Proven experience with Power Query and Power Pivot

• Demonstrable skills in Workforce Analysis

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational and time management abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Knowledge of labor laws and employment regulations

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
