Job Title: Marine Electrician - 1st Class

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Marine Electrician - 1st Class to interpret work specifications, blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics. You will write reports, order materials, and report any abnormal conditions, whether safety or mechanical. This role requires troubleshooting complex problems on electrical equipment and systems, with a strong understanding of how electricity works and basic electrical theory. You will be responsible for running cabling into ships, although you will not be performing pin connectorization or live terminations. Additionally, you will repair and refurbish electrical lighting systems, communications systems, and other systems aboard ships that operate off electrical power.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Norfolk, Virginia.

Work Environment

Must be able to obtain DBIDS for working at Naval bases.
