Chenega Corporation Protective Security Project Manager in Norfolk, Virginia

Summary

Join our team as a Protective Security Project Manager in support of the overall management of a Department of Defense Guard Force Services contract!

This position is contingent upon award and not currently funded.

Responsibilities

What You'll Get To Do:

  • Plan work schedules, train personnel and be on call twenty-four (24) to handle emergencies.

  • Attend conference calls with CNRMA Regional Operations.

  • Responsible for implementing the Contractor’s quality control plan and ensuring that the Contractor’s workforce complies with the contract requirements.

  • Oversee quality control of contract deliverables.

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate security administration and project control.

  • Monitor financial performance to ensure budget targets are met.

  • Ensure compliance with Federal State, local laws, regulations, and requirements.

  • Provide coordinated communications with the customer and other on-site contractors regarding security operations.

  • Prepare reports and submit them to the Government.

  • Oversee up to 125 individuals.

Qualifications

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in managing a workforce of this size and complexity.

  • Prior experience overseeing and directly supervising a minimum of 125 personnel.

  • Demonstrated experience in certified law enforcement, commercial/industrial security, or a combination of experience in certified law enforcement and commercial/industrial security with demonstrated experience as a Program Manager.

  • PM shall have at least five years of relevant experience in managing a workforce providing services on contracts of similar size, scope and complexity.

  • Demonstrated experience in planning, directing, and managing projects.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of current issues, trends, laws, regulations, and technologies.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Ability to provide recommendations, as needed, to the COR regarding security weaknesses and vulnerabilities.

  • Skill in satisfactorily dealing with customers.

  • Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment.

  • Ability to use various computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
