Job Summary

The Post-Doctoral Writing fellow will be responsible for coordinating writing support for graduate students at the masters and doctoral level. Additionally, developing a training curriculum for graduate writing fellows. Supervising 2-3 graduate writing fellows, this team will provide writing resources, one-on-one appointments, and writing workshops. To maintain funding after the post-doctoral fellow appointment, as well as additional financial resources for writing support, grants will need to be obtained. There may also be opportunities to help with faculty mentorship of students, faculty writing support, and teaching undergraduate/graduate courses in the post-doctoral fellows area of expertise.

Additional Information

This is a non-continuous position. The initial appointment will end on July 31, 2025. Appointment renewal for the following year will be based upon available funding and performance. Subsequent appointments will be July 1 June 30.

Salary Rate / Pay Rate

\$50,000 annual plus an excellent benefits package

Work Hours

Generally Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm with occasional weekend and evening hours as business needs dictate. Potential for some remote work.

Functional Expectations

Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation:\ 1. Work on a computer for extended periods\ 2. Move about in various locations on and off campus as needed to complete day-to-day work\ 3. Effectively communicate on a daily basis
