Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Candidates will be responsible for maintenance on hydraulic presses, Fanuc robots, various assembly machines, conveyor lines, and air handling equipment.

Responsibilities also include:

• Maintaining pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, sensors, gears, drives, AC/DC, pumps, gearboxes, motor controls, electronic systems, light systems, rigging, and various other secondary equipment

• Perform general building maintenance on boilers, HVAC units, plumbing, light ballast, and other maintenance tasks.

• Proficiency in MIG and Stick welding, as well as reading blueprints and schematics, is required.

• Electrical troubleshooting from 24v AC/DC up to 480v single phase and three phase, as well as PLC troubleshooting, is essential.

• Breakdowns will be addressed through work orders on a computer system (CMMS), and candidates will follow a PM schedule.

• Monitoring equipment performance and ensuring continuous operation of lines is critical.

• Candidates will work on SMP presses and install new equipment as needed.

Work Environment

Openings for 2nd shift (2pm-10pm, 3 openings) and 3rd shift (10pm-6am, 4 openings). This is a direct hire position with a pay rate of $38.80/hr, with differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts. This is a union facility (UAW) with over 400 employees on site.
