Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Product Definition Drafting / Design Analyst to join our Hot Section Structures team.
What You Will Do:
Perform design analysis (checking) of engineering product definition, assuring compliance with Product Definition ESW and design intent.
Create and define fully parametric NX models that comply with ASME and PW standards.
Collaborate, in a design-assist capacity, with Design Engineering to develop HPC, LPC & LPT parts.
Prepare, maintain, and release various product-related Teamcenter/NX Manager data of new design, Class I and II Engineering activities.
Serve as a mentor and coach, offering training to junior Product Definition practitioners.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of prior related experience in drafting/design, or mechanical product definition, or an Advanced degree in a related field and 3 years of prior related experience in drafting/design, or mechanical product definition.
4+ years of experience in ASMEY14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience with Model-Based Definition.
Experience with BOAS & Airfoils.
Experience with NX and TeamCenter.

Department/Segment Overview : Hot Section Engineering (HSE): North Berwick Engineering Center's Hot Section Engineering team is responsible for the design, development, technology maturation, and in-service support of BOAS, BOAS Supports, TOBI, Vane Supports, and Seals . Technical disciplines in HSE include Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, Durability, and Product Definition.
What is my role type: In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work. We’ve introduced role types to help you understand how you will operate in our blended work environment. This role is:
- Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
