Job Title: Technician, Production

Reports To: Manager, Production

Position Location: North Charleston, SC

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Position Summary:

The Production Technician will assist across various areas in the lab. The Lab Tech will gain exposure to bottling, inventory, safety, and other functions in a laboratory environment.

Roles / Responsibilities:

• Assist in bottling and packaging of products

• Work with Chemists and other Chemical Technicians to perform routine laboratory tasks

• Assist in bottle washing and cleaning

• Assist Chemists with washing glassware

• Perform monthly inventory on packaging materials

• Learn and perform proper handling of Acids and Bases

• Supports and complies with HPS safety program and notifies supervisor of any safety hazards

• Supports the development, maintenance, and continual improvement of the HPS Quality Management System

• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:

• Two years of college; pursuing a science related degree; minimum of sophomore standing preferred

• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Ability to support team in executing various projects and assignments

• Ability to prioritize tasks, with strong attention to detail

• Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, efficiently works under pressure, within deadlines or other time essential constraints

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly and concisely communicate to all levels of the organization

• Strong work ethic and an ability to excel within a rapidly changing and growing organization
