Job Description
Purpose:
Responsible for reconciliation activities after case completion within the specified timeframes to ensure
compliance with departmental and regulatory guidelines, as well as on-boarding/off-boarding staff and
performing effective oversight of external providers of Pharmacovigilance services for AbbVie.
Responsibilities:
Performing Quality Review/oversight of external provider’s reconciliation tasks for Clinical and Post
marketing (Medical Information, Product Complaints and third-party vendor) cases.
Participating in Late Case Investigation activities by providing internal stakeholder with monthly
compliance metrics summary.
Onboarding/Offboarding activities for Case Processing Vendor personnel.
Mailbox management, including overseeing of shared mailbox activities
Clearly and succinctly communicates information to customers verbally and in writing.
Overseeing of Z drive/RightFax intake
Demonstrates high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
Utilizes judgement skills to identify issues that impact the workflow.
Uses rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions.
Performing tasks outside one’s own area of responsibility to help with departmental needs.
Supporting/performing Late Case Investigation activities.
Effectively prioritizes and manages own time to complete assigned tasks.
Identifies gaps and areas that need improvement and communicates and/or implements
recommendations/changes.
Other responsibilities may include:
o Train new personnel.
o Perform monthly Quality Assurance checks to ensure department quality compliance.
o Act as Subject Matter Expert in departmental projects, new system implementation or
current system enhancements.
o Perform tasks outside one’s own area of responsibility to help with departmental needs.
Qualifications
High School Diploma required. Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
o 6 months to 1 year of experience in a support function such as a Support Operations Associate I, Clerical technician, Data Entry technician or Document Specialist or equivalent work experience required.
o Excellent computer and keyboarding skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook (or equivalent email system).
o Proficient in querying databases and running reports
o Prior superior experience and familiarity with computer databases.
o Superior attention to detail, quality, accuracy and timelines.
o Excellent time management and prioritization skills; ability to multi-task.
o Strong adaptability to switching tasks to meet business needs.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
