Job Description

The Manager, Third-Party Workforce Operations will be responsible for the governance and operations of AbbVie’s $600+ million global, contingent labor program. This individual will partner closely with internal stakeholders (e.g. HR, Legal, Finance and Procurement) and external partners (e.g. MSP and VMS) to ensure existing operations are delivered in an effective, streamlined manner while implementing new solutions to drive program value. This individual will ensure program operations is delivered in a consistent, scalable manner and will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following program components:

Responsibilities:

  • Program adoption and continuous improvement

  • Third-party worker policy and internal stakeholder education

  • MSP operations oversight and delivery

  • VMS business lead

  • Supplier relationship management

  • Integration of new sourcing channels

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree preferred (Scientific, JD, MBA).

  • 8-10 years combined experience in pharmaceutical research, legal, strategy or financial analysis required. Prefer Pharmaceutical, Licensing, CRO or Legal experience.

  • Experience with large, global contingent workforce programs.

  • Strong project management and PowerPoint skills.

  • Self-starter, someone who thinks “outside-the-box” to come up with creative ideas and solutions and someone who is not afraid to ask questions.

  • Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills with detail orientation.

  • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.​

  • This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs. ​
