Job Title: Warehouse Shipper/Receiver

Job Description

This candidate will be working in the warehouse to transfer products between different areas and prepare them for shipping. Occasionally, they will drive a small box truck to an adjacent facility. The role involves manually moving bags and drums of materials, some weighing up to 400lbs, with assistance from forklifts and team members. Additional duties include using small hand tools for basic fixes, creating orders from pick tickets, and organizing the warehouse for efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Transfer products within the warehouse and prepare them for shipping

• Drive a small box truck to an adjacent facility occasionally

• Manually move bags and drums of materials weighing up to 400lbs with assistance

• Use small hand tools for basic fixes

• Create orders from pick tickets and print labels

• Organize the warehouse for efficiency

Essential Skills

• Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience

• Ability to use basic hand tools (wrench, hammer, screwdriver)

• Expert level forklift operating

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

• Ability to read and write English

• Valid driver's license

• Experience with shipping and receiving

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Expert level forklift skills, specifically with sit-down basic propane forklifts

Work Environment

This position is based in a manufacturing environment that is not temperature controlled, so it can get hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The environment can also be dusty from materials, so candidates need to be comfortable with that. You will work in the warehouse connected directly to production and occasionally in an additional storage warehouse across the street. The shift is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM.

This is a Permanent position based out of North Grafton, Massachusetts.

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $49920.00
