Robert Half Analyst II - (Corporate Supply Chain-CSC) in North Haven, Connecticut

Description A client in the Healthcare, Hospitals, Social Assistance industry working with Robert Half is in need of a new Logistics Coordinator. We need the person in this Logistics Clerk position to know how to work with clients coordinating shipments. You should also be able to perform a heavy amount of data entry and customer service. You should also be able to take responsibility for the processing of customer orders, including coordination with vendors and arranging shipments as the Logistics Clerk. Apply today! Major responsibilities

  • Perform various administrative duties

  • Authenticate freight bills and process bills of lading

  • Follow guidelines for approving carriers

  • Screen, track, and foster dispatch & progress of orders on time and to meet delivery requirements

  • Communicate and coordinate with inventory and sales management; warehouse; logistics for service changes

  • Follow-up with carriers, as necessary Requirements - You'll be a preferred candidate for this job if you can demonstrate experience in purchasing, inventory control, transportation and warehousing functions

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset

    • About Time experience highly valued

    • Demonstrated knowledge of analytics

    • Proficiency in Troubleshoot

    • Foundational knowledge in Collection Processes

    • Perform Ad Hoc Financial experience highly desired

    • Security experience desired

    • Enterprise resource planning experience preferred

    • General familiarity with research

    • Practical knowledge of Materials Handling

    • Background working with Review

    • Hands-on experience with pricing

    • Expertise in management

    • Experience with Workstation Support

    • Microsoft Excel experience preferred

    • Previous experience working with project management

    • Earlier work involving Database

    • Comprehension of finance

    • Vendors experience required

    • Solid understanding of customer service

    • Good understanding of design

    • Prior experience with Leadership Skills

    • Deep understanding of reporting

    • Planning experience highly desired

    • Adeptness in procedures

    • Budget Processes experience highly preferred

    • Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required

    • 2+ years' experience with shipping/logistics

    • Ability to operate basic office equipment, complete general office work and route incoming materials
