Job Description

As an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Senior Coordinator, you will implement plans and procedures to achieve the team’s objectives to ensure a safe working environment for employees to deliver high-quality projects effectively. You will perform routine EHS assignments according to established guidelines while using knowledge of the organization, processes, and procedures to develop solutions in non-standard situations. You will advise technical teams and leadership on daily EHS matters and provide solutions for complex matters. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, workers compensation management, ability to read, analyze and interpret general business documents, contracts, and technical procedures. Overnight travel may be required.

We have one current opening and will consider candidates interested in being located out of our Lincoln, NE, Omaha, NE, North Kansas City, MO, or Overland Park, KS office locations.

  • Independently provides solutions to resolve complex situations related to the EHS matters.

  • Contribution to the development of safety programs, related policies, and procedures.

  • Experience in developing and leading environment health and safety training.

  • Proficiency in Office 365 products (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel) as well as web-based programs.

  • CPR/First Aid certification and OSHA instructor certifications are preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in safety management, business, or a related area is preferred.

  • Minimum 6-10 years of experience in the safety and/or construction industry.
