North Tonawanda. Pioneer Printers. Receptionist/Customer Service. $18.60 - $20.25/hour.

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage inquiries will be crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.

Responsibilities - Answer, screen & transfer inbound phone calls on a multi-company/line phone system. (Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone) - Direct retail customer service, such as customer product pick up, faxing, making copies. - Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, scanning, etc. - Ability to learn credit card processing systems. - Exhibits polite and professional communication via e-mail and mail. - Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office. - Maintains customer records by updating account information. - Serves customers by providing product and service information, including quotation of products and answering questions and requests. - Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customers complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution. - Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning product completion schedule. - Invoicing of completed orders, updating of completed work orders. - Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed; such as helping production Occasionally with basic collating, binding, tabbing, stapling, etc. - Ability/willingness to cross train on other positions in the office to cover for vacations, sickness, etc.

Skills - Strong proofreading abilities to ensure clarity and correctness in communications. - Proficiency in office software applications, including Microsoft 365 andQuickBooks for financial tasks. - Excellent time management skills to handle multiple inquiries efficiently. - Familiarity with clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records. - Polished phone etiquette to create a positive impression during customer interactions. - Previous experience in a clerk or front desk role is advantageous. - Good listing skills - Ability to multi task

Education / Experience Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent education required with a two-year degree or three years of customer service/administrative experience as an asset. - Knowledge of appropriate software including Microsoft Word and Excel, QuickBooks is an asset. - Familiarity with basic office phone systems a plus
