Robert Half Talent Solutions is looking for a meticulous Sr. Accountant to join a leading organization, located in Northampton, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be tasked with maintaining the integrity of our financial information, overseeing general ledger accounting, and coordinating with external auditors and tax teams.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the accuracy of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions

• Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries in accordance with GAAP and analyze account information

• Oversee General Ledger Accounting in accordance with GAAP, including month-end activities and account reconciliation

• Coordinate to gather and consolidate financial results from various regions

• Post various entries including credit card, payroll, and monthly accrual journal entries

• Assist with financial reporting by preparing supporting schedules and analyzing data

• Delegate financial responsibilities and train the accounting team

• Oversee the payroll process, including reviewing semi-monthly payroll for upload and reconciling all payroll-related accounts

• Prepare credit checks and establish credit terms

• Oversee the Accounts Receivable Process, including recording deposits and processing credit card payments.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations

• Experience with General Ledger management and creating Journal Entries

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge and experience in Month End Close procedures

• Familiarity with NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, and similar ERP systems

• Proven experience in Financial Reporting and Annual Financial Reporting

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Must have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of the organization

• Must have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
