Adecco is currently recruiting for entry level Material Handlers and Machine Operators to work second and third shift in Northbridge, Massachusetts. These positions are temp-to-hire with pay ranging from $17.25 to $18.00 depending on shift and position.

Material Handlers move finished product off the Production floor via hand carts, pallet jack, or powered pallet jack to the appropriate storage location. Ensures all production supplies (bags, boxes, pallets, tape, labels, etc.) are available at all machines at the start of the shift. Reports to the Shift Supervisor for daily assignments. Also, scans the barcode label on each bag/box/bundle/pallet that is removed from the Production floor for Production reporting in real time.

Machine Operators position packs product via a conveyor into drying racks, cardboard boxes or bins containing plastic bags. Packs finished products obtained from drying racks or storage boxes into plastic bags or cardboard boxes.

Requirements:

• High School diploma; must be able to do simple math.

• 3-6 months' experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.

• Third shift candidates must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.

• English is not a requirement for second shift.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Frequently required to stand and walk during an 8-hour shift.

• Frequently required to reach, bend, squat, stretch, and twist.

• Will lift and/or carry bulky objects weighing up to 40 pounds.

• Must be able to work efficiently and repetitively with hands and have physical strength, stamina, and coordination to perform duties.

• Must be available to work overtime as necessary.

• Will work in a dusty and sometimes wet environment as well as cold/hot/humid areas based on the seasons.

Pay Details: $17.25 to $18.00 per hour
