UL, LLC IT Change Management Lead in Northbrook, Illinois
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages change processes for all changes moving into the production environment, including applicable mitigation of risks. Conducts readiness reviews in alignment with Project, Release, and Testing Management, as well as business stakeholders.
Reviews all requested changes for proper categorization and documentation. Assists requestors and implementers as needed, rejects changes which fail to meet the mark, and executes against escalation procedures as needed.
Leads, reports on, and executes against Emergency Requests for Change in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures. Supports and engages with root cause analysis of all applicable Emergency Changes.
Works across teams to improve reporting, tracking, and handling of incidents or problems resulting from all approved or unapproved changes in the production environment.
Builds, maintains, and archives the IT Change Management agenda, calendar, and portfolio, working closely with stakeholders across the organization.
Works directly with IT Release Management to coordinate Change and Release calendars on a regular cadence. Assists Release Management in identifying those requests which come through the change pipeline rather than project timelines. Determines scope of the same.
Takes responsibility for all IT General Controls which fall under the Change Management / Quality Assurance roles. Monitors, executes against, and closes all Control Tests within agreed SLAs.
Consults with and provides training as needed to project teams and requestors as required.
Proposes changes to service level agreements and directs resolution between business and IT Service requirements as necessary.
Regularly reviews and provides input on training documentation and develops process to measure success of changes.
University degree in Computer Science or related discipline or directly related experience.
Experience in leading IT projects & programs and managing IT teams.
ITIL Certification a plus.

Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated salary range for this position is $90,000 to $120,000 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 20% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
