Ongoing training and professional development Salary Range: $24.69- $25.92 Per hour CommonBond Communities invites qualified applicants to apply for the Advantage Service Coordinator positionat Greenvale & Spruce Place located in Richfield and Farmington Minnesota. The primary responsibility of Advantage Services is to assist the property manager with the daily operations of the community by assisting with resources and services for residents along with a strong focus on customer service and community relations. In addition, this position requires daily administrative duties concerning the management office and the apartment community. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND ASSOCIATED TASKS Primary Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, promote, manage, and document the delivery of resident-centered programs and services with a focus on housing stability. Work collaboratively with property managers to provide lease education and support residents in overcoming challenges to lease compliance. Support resident associations, resident-led activities, and leadership development by providing technical and resource support. Develop collaborative community relationships to support resident housing stability. Oversee site budget, prepare and document client case notes every week, develop and distribute monthly resident communication. Promotes positive relationships within the community and surrounding neighborhood. Cover the phone line and email for other sites remotely from your site, one week out of the month, and as needed during staffing shortages. Other Responsibilities Meet quarterly with the resident community board and send out letters to the resident board quarterly with the agenda for meetings. Maintain the site's existing grant requirements. Aids residents to plan and execute existing community-building activities such as digital and financial literacy education, job and resume-building events, compassion resilience classes, family game night, resident coffee hours, etc. Coordinates publication of monthly newsletter. Manage monthly grocery food deliveries from local food pantries. Manage the Summer Meal site and attend all external mandatory trainings. Oversee summer meal site volunteers, meet and greet, and assign volunteer tasks. Team Participation Actively participates in Advantage Services Wisconsin team meetings and promotes collaborative problem-solving and professional development. Works collaboratively with property management staff and other departments of CommonBond Communities. Minimal Qualifications Demonstrated experience working within diverse communities, which include people various ages, genders, sexual orientations, national origins, income levels, ability levels, religious affiliations, races, and languages. Ability to maintain existing partner networks and community partnerships. Excellent interp rsonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment with both internal and external partners. Experience providing individual services to a diverse population of individuals and families. Experience using MS Office 365 and other software programs. Be certified in CPR and First Aid or can become certified within six months of starting position. Demonstrated training and experience and working knowledge of local services and referral processes for the elderly and people with disabilities. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of community resources and service networks. Built connections with the community, working with various groups of people Knowledge of low-income housing programs. Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods. Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs. Ability to file documents. Ability to enter data into a computer. Ability to interact verbally with internal and external audiences. Other Requirements Must be willing and able to travel between sites. Must be willing to work occasional evenings and weekends as scheduled.
