Farmer Brothers Field Trainer - Revive in NORTHLAKE, Illinois

As the Field Trainer for Revive you will be administering, organizing, conducting, and facilitating specific training programs for our Revive Field Service Technicians. In this role, you will provide orientation and training on new course materials through the selection of appropriate training aids and will analyze course evaluations to judge effectiveness of training sessions and to implement suggestions for improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform any field training and assist on the execution of new programs, initiatives or the presentation of sales incentives and associated training.

  • Work closely with the Farmer Brothers Support Center training team to establish and execute the Revive training & development strategy for Field Service Technicians.

  • Drive the development and execution of the training strategy among new and tenured team members (on-boarding and advanced training).

  • Attend service calls with field technicians to observe and confirm implementation of training programs in market.

  • Consult and work collaboratively with external equipment vendors/partners to create new or update existing training content.

  • Implement workshops to drive the development of technical and product knowledge, territorial business plans, selling skills, automation technology, and other related skills.

  • Establish and implement key metrics to track and communicate value/impact of training initiatives as well as provide recommendations to continually improve these initiatives.

  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.

  • 3 to 5 years of successful experience in a sales/service management and/or field coaching role required.

  • Experience in coffee and/or coffee equipment preferred.

  • Travel required for in-market training, workshops and on-boarding

Personal & Professional Skillsets

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.

  • Proven track record or sales/service performance results.

  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills.

  • Ability to present ideas effectively to individuals or groups.

  • Ability to spearhead change efforts and acts as a catalyst for change, thus helping ensure the organization's success.

  • Seek and uncover new data and resources to influence others and identify win-win solutions.

  • Immediately recognize priority areas that require monitoring to ensure effective operations.

  • Use active listening and communicates effectively with employees and/or management.
