Imaging Tech II - Cardiac Catheterization Services

Northridge Hospital Medical Center

Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist with expertise in Cardiac Catheterization procedures. The right candidate must have relevant certifications and a strong understanding of cath lab protocols. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential. Responsibilities

  • Perform imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.

  • Prepare and position patients for imaging exams ensuring their comfort and safety.

  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment while adhering to safety standards and protocols.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of procedures.

  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care.

  • Maintain inventory and assist in ordering necessary supplies for the department.

  • Capturing high-quality cardiac images

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of cath lab or special procedure experience in hospital setting required.

  • High School graduate or equivalent required. Completion of formal radiology technology training in an AMA approved school meeting ARRT requirements.

  • License is required as issued by ARRT (national) CRT (state) and Fluoroscopy certification.

  • AHA BLS card required

  • AHA ACLS card required within 90 days of hire.

  • Fire Safety card required within 90 days of hire.

This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreement.

Pay Range

$53.80 - $63.38 /hour
