I maging Tech - Computed Tomographic Scanner

Northridge Hospital Medical Center

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Imaging Tech II /CT Scanner t to join our dynamic medical imaging team. As a CT Scan Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images for medical interpretation. Responsibilities

  • Perform CT scans on patients according to physician orders.

  • Monitor patients for any adverse reactions and respond promptly.

  • Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to obtain relevant clinical information for accurate image interpretation.

  • Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.

  • Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

  • Document and record patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system

Qualifications

  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a hospital and radiology department is required.

  • Satisfactory completion of formal radiological technology training in an AMA-approved school or BS or AA degree in Radiological Technology in an AMA-approved school.

  • Cross-training in CT MRI Nuclear Medicine and Mammography is required.

  • License is required as issued by ARRT (national) CRT (state) and Fluoroscopy certification.

  • Certification in one modality is required.

  • Fire Safety card. (must obtain within 90 days of start date)

This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreement.

Pay Range

$53.80 - $63.38 /hour
