BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a Mental Health Technician - Casual Pool to join our outstanding and compassionate team in Tampa, FL!

• Facility: Northside Behavioral Health

• Location: Tampa, FL

• Status: Pool - Minimum of 16-24 hours/mo, Exempt: No

• Shift Hours: Varies 8hr shifts

• Weekend Work: None

• On Call: No

Mental Health Technician - Casual Pool provides direct patient care to psychiatric patients under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.

The Mental Health Technician - Casual Pool is responsible for:

• Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing.

• Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients.

• Assists with physical care under the direction of an RN.

Required Certifications/Licensures:

• BLS (Basic Life Support

• FL Driver's License

Required Education:

• High School or Equivalent

Experience:

• CNA/PCT - Preferred

• Behavioral Health - Preferred

• Written and verbal communication

• Works independently and with a team

• Organization, administrative and clerical skills
