Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing Associate to provide direct support to our Marketing Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices, along with a proactive mindset and excellent communication skills. This role involves supporting the marketing team in executing various marketing campaigns, conducting research, and managing digital marketing channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Marketing Campaigns:
  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels.
  • Coordinate with team members and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of campaign materials.
  • Organize and manage trade show logistics.
  • Digital Marketing:
  • Manage and update company social media profiles (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram) with relevant content.
  • Assist with maintaining the company websites.
  • Assist in the creation and distribution of email marketing campaigns.
  • Contribute to content marketing efforts, including writing blog posts, articles, and other marketing materials.
  • Market Research:
  • Follow market research to identify trends, target audiences, and competitors.
  • Gather and analyze data from various sources to inform marketing strategies.
  • Communication:
  • Draft, edit, and proofread marketing materials to ensure clarity and consistency.
  • Communicate effectively with sales and marketing team members, management, and external partners.
  • Organizational Support:
  • Maintain marketing calendars and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Organize and maintain marketing databases and files.
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing team as needed.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work independently and collaboratively with the marketing and sales team to achieve common goals.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Good research skills with the ability to gather data from various sources.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Some travel required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with marketing software and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Systems, or Mailchimp).
  • Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO.
