Master Maintenance, a Servis Group Company, is seeking an Area Supervisor to help lead our janitorial teams! The Area Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day duties and responsibilities for a group of locations, including but not limited to, Northville, Novi, Wixom, etc...

This position will be responsible for training and ensuring that all janitorial staff perform proper routine cleaning of job sites; solve problems and staffing vacancies; assist in assigning work schedules and in coordinating special cleaning jobs.

This position is responsible for overseeing our team members with focus on providing the highest quality of service in our industry while creating a positive relationship with our employees.

Starting pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour. Plus, a fuel allowance.

Area Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure equipment is maintained in a clean and operable condition.
• Assure and maintain the availability of equipment, supplies, and materials in quantities required for company operations, at an economical cost.
• Provide supervision to employees within the specified area.
• Develop and train subordinate employees.
• Identify and report possible repairs
• Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created
• Perform such other duties as assigned

Area Supervisor Qualifications:

• 3 + years' experience in the janitorial industry
• 2+ years in a supervisor position
• Valid driver's license and own transportation
