Collect data and perform statistical analysis to identify gaps solving complex and diverse problems for a new or an existing project/operation. Use advance competency in engineering methods such as lean tools, product slotting (warehouse setup), labor standards (time studies), layout and optimization and resource modelling to design and implement new distribution center and transportation operations. Map and document processes, identify and address failure modes by performing a PFMEA, create process flows. Regular reporting of data and actions to measure progress against the site objectives, make inventory, operations and/or supply chain strategy recommendations to improve performance and reduce waste. Deploy visual management to increase performance within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Cost metrics and continually adapt visual management to drive improvement. Coach and train process owners/ engineers on how to use engineering and Lean methods to achieve operational excellence. Effective facilitation/execution Value Stream Maps & Kaizen Events through all stages (A3 charter, ideation / creation, pre-work identification and completion, delivery of result, follow through on sustainment). Domestic Travel, up to 50% to Ryder operational sites/customer site visits for new project launches and or to participate in continuous improvement projects.
