Role description:

Arcadis is seeking a highly skilled and experienced product regulatory compliance Operations Program Specialist to join our team in a part time capacity. The ideal candidate will have direct experience in regulatory compliance program initiatives, with expertise in two or more operational focus areas. This role requires a minimum of three years of dedicated regulatory compliance program support, demonstrating the ability to complete tasks independently without the need for management or lead support and guidance.

Role accountabilities: Manage and lead regulatory compliance initiatives across multiple operations. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and provide expert guidance in compliance matters. Develop and lead hazardous material training projects, ensuring compliance with US and Canadian regulations. Plan and execute project tasks with support from experienced colleagues. Conduct audits for Dangerous Goods and address findings while maintaining related policies and work instructions.

Qualifications & Experience: Knowledge of various regulations related to dangerous goods transportation, including US, Canada, Mexico, and international codes (e.g., IMDG, IATA). Competency in chemical and materials management regulations, including hazard communication and restrictions like REACH and RoHS. Familiarity with automotive industry regulations and standards. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline and at least four years of experience in operations/regulatory compliance support.
