Vector North America, Inc Program Manager, Embedded Software in Novi, Michigan
- Assist with other testing, troubleshooting, documentation and customer support for other technical issues.
- Support communication on behalf of customers with hardware manufacturers of microprocessors to resolve hardware/software integration issues.
- Assist with troubleshooting with hardware manufacturers' engineering support to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution.
- Conceptualize and recommend to supervisor revisions to the company's standard embedded software system for corporate approval and/or may conceptualize and recommend revisions to software tool products.
- Assist with planning, preparing, and demonstrating how the company's software, software tools, or industry protocols work.
- Confer with other company engineering personnel to ensure quality control standards are consistent across the company's customer base for embedded software and/or software tool products.
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of Vector North America quality policy statement, and associated quality system.
- Develop, maintain, and explain knowledge of various programming languages such as C, to effectively implement software changes and fixes as necessary.
- Work closely with multiple OEM and Tier1 customers to manage all aspects of their needs for embedded software products, services, support and tools used in development and production of electronic control modules
- Guide customers use and integration of Vector embedded products through the product lifecycle (requirement, design, development, validation, and production)
- Meet with customers on a regular basis to develop positive, long-term relationships
- Troubleshoot, identify, specify and propose projects and/or solutions to assist customers integrating Vector software into their products or processes
- Provide regular updates to all stakeholders, ensuring task progression based on project planning, milestone achievements and oversight
