Description We are in search of a diligent Manager of Applications Development to join our team in the Financial Services industry, based in Oak Brook, Illinois. The role will entail leading a team of developers and working closely with the VP of IT. The successful candidate will be tasked with exploring AI-based solutions and overseeing the retirement of legacy software, while also working on integrations and building applications using .NET, Angular, and Azure.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development and implementation of AI-based solutions for the company.

• Lead a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

• Collaborate with the security team to ensure software and applications are secure and adhere to best practices.

• Oversee the retirement of legacy software and the integration of new software.

• Develop applications using technologies such as .NET, Angular, and Azure.

• Work on both frontend and backend development tasks, ensuring a balanced approach to software development.

• Use Atlassian Jira, Cloud Technologies, CRM, Database, EO/IR systems, and other relevant skills to ensure efficient and effective application development.

• Collaborate with other teams within the organization to automate processes and improve efficiency.

• Ensure progress is made on long term investments, showing tangible results within the first month.

• Facilitate the building and growth of the development team. Requirements • Must have a solid understanding of Atlassian Jira.

• Proficiency in Cloud Technologies is required.

• Must be familiar with CRM systems.

• Database management skills are essential.

• Knowledge of EO/IR systems will be a plus.

• Should be capable of conducting AB Testing.

• Experience with Agile Scrum methodology is necessary.

• API Development skills are highly desirable.

• Must have experience in Application Development.

• Data Warehousing capabilities will be an advantage.

• Proficiency in .NET is required.

• Knowledge of Angular is a plus.

• Must have experience with Microsoft Azure.

• C Sharp Programming (C#) skills are necessary.
