JOB REQUIREMENTS: Plant Chemist- Liquid Paints Division - JR2418459 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: As Plant Chemist- Liquid Paints, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement efforts, communicating effectively across multiple functional teams, driving accountability, influencing and motivating team members while ensuring quality engineering and achieving product quality and QMS Compliance. Responsibilities: * Promotes and demonstrates a culture of quality through communication, awareness activities and action. * Develops, collects, and analyzes manufacturing quality metrics on regular basis. * Accountable and responsible for plant production SSPL coordination, including oversight and * support to root cause investigations, data analysis, and action coordination * Analyzes QMS results (Non-conformances, poor yields, customer disruptions) for trends and needed actions focused on prevention * Leads root cause investigations as needed * Monitors internal corrective/ preventive actions and status to ensure closure * Participates in decisions in favor of cost-efficiency without compromising quality PPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location which allows us to compensate employees competitively in different geographic markets.
