Job Overview

The2nd Shift Production Supervisorensures timely delivery of products and parts to both internal and external customers. This role collaborates with various personnel, including Inspectors, Receiving Clerks, CDL Drivers, Warehouse Coordinators, Consolidation Clerks, and Customer Service.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 2pm-11pm

Weekend Rotation: This position will be required to participate in a four-week weekend rotation.

On Call Schedule: This position will participate in an on-call weekend rotation (approximately four weekends per year and one holiday).

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee storerooms and transportation functions, ensuring efficient management of parts and deliveries.

  • Support customer deliveries for repair orders and original equipment or sub-contract orders.

  • Adhere to company safety and quality plans and procedures.

  • Manage material/parts flow from receiving dock to storerooms or customer orders, maintaining inventory accuracy.

  • Work independently with knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety in product design, and serviceability.

  • Address safety and manufacturability concerns, escalating to Sr. Group Leaders when necessary.

  • Manage project tasks, continuous improvement initiatives, and timecards.

  • Prioritize schedules and staffing, plan across multiple areas, and demonstrate high-level technical expertise.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Associate Degree or equivalent relevant work experience.

  • Minimum 3 years of warehouse supervisory experience or 5+ years within a warehouse environment.

  • Preferred: CPIM Certification or other logistics certifications (APICS, etc.).

  • Previous union manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus.

  • Working experience within Excel and SAP.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
