JOB REQUIREMENTS: Apply Description THIS IS A 3RD SHIFT POSITION Summary The Production Supervisor\'s main objective is to properly organize team members to achieve a reasonable workflow throughout the day. The Production Supervisor directs, disciplines, trains, and assists lower-level manufacturing employees in a factory setting. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS): Directly supervise and develop a team that consists of Line Lead-Hands, a team of non-unionized Production staff and temporary staff employees. Responsible for output of production including yields, labor and material costs Responsible for product quality and training of employees on quality standards and procedures Enforcement of plant rules for production, hygiene, health and safety and employee conduct Learn, teach, exhibit and enforce behaviors consistent with Furlani\'s Code of Conduct Complete monthly performance reviews for new hires and internal moves for their 3- month probationary periods Provide performance management counseling and/or progressive discipline in a timely fashion when required Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and Process Controls Maintain fair and consistent application of all company policies and procedures. Ensure that all are complying with Occupational Health and Safety regulations and be proactive in the prevention and elimination of workplace accidents. This includes proper accident/incident reports, identifying the root cause and developing corrective actions Ensure compliance with SQF (Safe Quality Food) standards. Maintain the highest standards for quality, customer service and recognizing that Food Safety is of the greatest priority, including GMP\'s (Good Manufacturing Practices) Plan and prioritize daily job assignments, through the company ERP system QAD Maintain a good employee relations environment/ Resolve personnel issues or conflicts Develop associates through effective use of the Performance Management Process and Wage Reviews Program, by constantly measuring performance of employees, overall shift and of him/herself Ensure open and effective communication.
