Looking for a Career where you help others? Child Support Case Manager -- Special Projects Do you have strong analytical skills and want to be able to help others? In this role, you will be the primary person responsible for opening child support cases and orienting parents to their rights and responsibilities. You will coordinate with other states when sharing child support functions, and trouble shoot solutions with challenging cases and situations. Your work counts -- in child support, we make sure that children receive financial and medical support according to federal, state, and local laws and rules. Responsibilities include conducting interviews to establish facts, reviewing case history, answering customer questions, verifying documentation on cases, entering documentation in computer system, preparing cases for closure when children become adults, and summarizing and presenting all information gathered to establish and/or enforce child support orders. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Two years of experience in performing child support case management functions in the State of Ohio, to include conducting investigations to locate absent parents, establishment of paternity, and enforcement of child support orders; AND Completion of two years technical training or undergraduate major core course work in criminology, social work, psychology or related field, or equivalent education and experience in interviewing, criminal investigations, court proceedings, writing, keyboarding.
