U.S. Pacific Fleet, Commander in Chief MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT in Oak Harbor, Washington

Summary You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT in the QUALITY ASSURANCE DIVISION of FLEET READINESS CENTER NORTHWEST. Responsibilities You will develop site studies, develops layout and workflow sketches and determines space and location requirements. You will coordinate, schedule, and manage quarterly and special inspections. You will perform analysis of reported discrepancies revealed by these inspections and provides detailed reports. You will review work processes, techniques, and similar factors to verify work reports. You will make test of time study units noting conditions such as motions required and used, and availability of equipment and materials. You will prepare tables of organization based on determinations furnished by others relative to where cuts in personnel are to be made and which functions should be combined. You will prepare drafts of organizational charts and functional statements based on specific information and instructions for the review and approval of operating officials. You will project current and future equipment needs, electronic and mechanical, based upon established criteria of existing equipment and requirements. You will maintain established office files and records in standard electronic format. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-06: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-05) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing administrative support in an office setting by compiling program data to prepare reports and correspondence for the review and approval of management officials.
