You will perform a variety of tasks which involve making the Navy Lodge a home away from home for our valued guests. Your work will make an impact and support how our organization serves the best customer – our Military patrons and their families. So, what does a typical day look like? What does it take to succeed? o Regularly performs the full range and scope of housekeeping services, including, but not limited to: cleaning guest rooms, public spaces, storage areas, laundry rooms, exterior space, etc. o Conducts daily inspections of rooms, housekeeping carts, common areas, laundry facilities, and maintains written documentation of these inspections. o Maintains a clean and safe environment for lodging guests and staff. o Required to possess a valid state driver's license to travel to other lodging facilities as required within the normal scope of duties. The Qualifiers: o Required to attend and complete mandatory training programs to obtain housekeeping certification and re-certification. o The incumbent is required to obtain a housekeeping certification within 6 months of employment. o Moderate physical effort moving furniture and the use of hand or lightweight powered cleaning equipment o Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
