Skookum is seeking a reliable and hard-working Truck Driver and GSA/Licensing Coordinator with a positive attitude. Typical duties include but are not limited to: Perform cargo delivery as assigned. Perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment. Ensure equipment is fully operational before each shift. Clean the vehicle and service the vehicle with fuel. Keep accurate trip logs. Maintains radio or telephone contact with base or supervisor to receive instructions or be dispatched to new location. Keeps record of materials and products transported. Secures cargo for transportation. Maintain preventive maintenance and repair records. Read and understand drawings, work plans and maps. Maintain professionalism in both appearance and demeanor. Manage GSA vehicles including scheduling for delivery, maintenance, and return. Assist movements when needed. Ensure assigned to appropriate command. Manage military licensing program - providing training for military personnel for truck and bus driving. Qualifications: Valid CDL Class A required. 6 months experience as a vehicle operator required. Physical Requirements: Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties. Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required. Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time. Requirements: A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A is required.
