Robert Half Account Manager in Oak Ridge, Tennessee

Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a proactive Account Manager in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. This role primarily involves managing a diverse customer base, processing bid proposals, and handling back orders. The position also requires the acquisition of new customers, order entry, and the use of Salesforce for efficient customer relationship management.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and nurture relationships with existing customers and contractors, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues

• Develop and implement strategies to retain and grow the customer base

• Process and manage bid proposals efficiently and handle back orders, ensuring timely communication and resolution

• Facilitate the acquisition of new customers and manage order entry processes

• Identify opportunities for business growth and development and implement strategies to attract new clients and expand market presence

• Collaborate with the sales team to achieve business objectives

• Maintain regular phone communication with customers, providing updates and addressing inquiries

• Ensure clear and effective communication internally and externally

• Utilize Salesforce for managing customer interactions and data tracking, leveraging it to streamline processes and enhance customer relationship management

• Possess strong organizational and time-management abilities and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Account Management role or similar.

• Proficient in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and Salesforce Platform.

• Demonstrable experience in Key Account Management.

• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

• Experience in bid proposal creation and management.

• Proven track record in account management and maintaining client relationships.

• Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Willingness to continually learn and adapt to changes in the industry.
