Our client, an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction company is seeking an Electrical Designer to join their team. As an Electrical Designer, you will be part of the Electrical Department supporting Physical Design. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, be able to obtain a security clearance, and have strong communication which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Electrical Designer

Location: Oak Ridge, TN 37831

Pay Range: $45.00-55.00 per hour

What’s the Job?

• Electrical Physical design activities for raceway design, equipment location and layout.

• Produce lower and higher tier - drawings and documentation in accordance with established conceptual design and scope, including design of lighting, grounding layout, grounding designs/calculations and lightning protection systems.

• Develop specifications for equipment and material where deviation from standard documentation.

• Design using 2D MicroStation CADD, SmartSketch, and S3D.

What’s Needed?

• AA/AS degree with 8 years of related design experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and 12 years of related design experience.

• Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check, which includes verification of employment and education.

• Must be a US citizen

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q Clearance
