The HR Operations Analyst reports directly to the Manager, HR Operations. This person will work closely with process owners, in HR and on other teams, to identify opportunities for improvement to efficiencies, automation, and consolidation. This will require proactive collaboration with other team members across Hub International to assess current landscape, identify interconnecting processes and dependencies and coordinate accordingly. The HR Operations Analyst will support and drive forward enterprise HR enhancements supporting core projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of leadership, internal customer, and external partners

  • Understanding of employee life cycle processes and procedures; ability to interpret and incorporate into practice

  • Central point of contact for interdepartmental projects and communications related to HR business operations.

  • Partner with stakeholders, both internal and external to Human Resources, to assess and define business requirements and build better

  • Lead project work and implementations for new and enhanced HR processes within the core and field HR teams

  • Ability to apply advanced knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of tasks and projects.

  • Proficiency with HRIS systems (Workday strongly preferred); strong understanding of data, data models and database structures and system set up

  • Recommend and participate in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals.

  • Ability to always maintain confidentiality.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with all levels of staff and management in a diverse population

  • Support training opportunities and initiatives to ensure transparency of HR policies, ensure understanding of compliance standards, and proper use of HR systems

Job Location: This role is Hybrid, with three days in-office and two days remote.

QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED AND PREFERRED)

  • A Bachelor’s degree in related discipline (e.g., Human Resources, or Business). In lieu of Bachelor’s degree, an applicable amount of relevant work experience will be considered.

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in Human Resources, HR Operations, HRIS or in a similar/equivalent position

  • Hands on experience in Workday HCM required and knowledge of Recruiting, Talent, and Reporting strongly preferred; experience with timekeeping and other applicant tracking or HCM systems preferred

  • Excellent communication skills are keys for this role, as this role frequently interacts with Senior and Executive Management as well as our field HR teams

  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to maintain a professional, friendly demeanor

  • Solutions oriented, a desire to “solve the puzzle”

  • Solid business acumen and the ability to see the bigger picture

  • Excellent analytical & Excel skills; must be able to run regular multi-functional data analyses & present findings

  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Solid ability in identifying and resolving problems in a timely, effective manner

  • Experience with agile project methodology and flexible working style with change management experience a plus.
