This position is a hybrid of working remote and working in the office. At this time, only candidates within commutable distance from Oakbrook Terrace, IL will be considered.

Job Description

As a key member of the Tax team, the Transfer Pricing Analyst at Bosch US is primarily responsible for supporting the planning and review of transfer pricing compliance for the company's subsidiaries. This role also involves supporting transfer pricing audits, coordinating with third-party consultants and regional tax departments, and addressing transfer pricing inquiries from business units across the region. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Transfer Pricing team to ensure timely and accurate calculation of transfer pricing financials.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Bosch Transfer Pricing team to contribute to 6662 U.S. Transfer Pricing Documentation and review local country transfer pricing studies.

  • Support ongoing audits, MAPs, and APAs processes by preparing responses to inquiries from the IRS and local country taxing authorities.

  • Develop income statement models for Bosch US subsidiaries to monitor arm’s-length profit compliance with US and local country law, and calculate compensating adjustments as needed.

  • Drive continuous improvement in model accuracy and efficiency through the use of technology and automation (e.g. Alteryx).

  • Facilitate information gathering within the company.

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics, or related field.

  • 2+ years of transfer pricing experience.

  • Proficiency in technology, including online research tools and MS Office applications.

  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, v-lookups, charts, graphs, etc.

  • Strong analytical and technical skills with a focus on process improvements.

  • Clear and concise communication skills in English, both orally and in writing.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Alteryx.
