Director of Operations

We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to join our team and ensure cost-effective operational efficiency and compliance. This role involves overseeing daily operations, establishing best practices, and supporting growth within the retirement industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage departments including Cash Management, Real Estate, Alternative Assets, Precious Metals, Distributions, Transfers, Office Administration, Regulatory Reporting, and Compliance.

  • Lead system upgrades for efficient integration.

  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and growth-oriented operations team.

  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for informed business decisions.

  • Participate in the leadership team, providing insights on industry trends and compliance.

  • Assist in strategic business goal development and management.

  • Ensure adherence to company policies and banking regulations.

  • Maintain business continuity plans for uninterrupted operations.

  • Liaise with external entities to ensure legal and operational compliance.

  • Promote a high-performance, continuous improvement culture.

    Requirements

KEY requirements:

  • Compliance and banking knowledge – they are a non-depository bank

  • Experience with managing technology system migration – will be moving from Accutrust Gold systems to another system

  • Experience managing a large department – this role is supervising 6 managers and 40 overall employees; this is the largest team in the organization

  • Communication must be 10/10

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or business administration.

  • 10+ years of management experience in banking, finance, audit, or related fields.

  • Proven success in leading transformational initiatives.

  • Strong mentorship and team guidance skills.

  • Familiarity with IRA industry regulations.

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage operational processes and perform under pressure.
