We are seeking a highly experienced Environmental Superintendent with a strong background in remediation to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary:

The Environmental Superintendent will oversee and manage remediation projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in environmental remediation, project management, and team leadership. This role requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills and a thorough understanding of environmental regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee remediation projects from inception to completion.

  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and work plans.

  • Ensure projects comply with all environmental regulations and company policies.

  • Supervise on-site activities, ensuring safety and efficiency.

  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

  • Conduct site inspections and monitor progress.

  • Enforce safety protocols and procedures on all job sites.

  • Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions.

  • Investigate and report any safety incidents.

  • Ensure all remediation activities meet quality standards and client specifications.

  • Perform regular quality control inspections and address any issues promptly.

  • Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

  • Provide clear direction and support to team members.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns or inquiries.

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction with project outcomes.

  • Prepare and present project updates and reports to clients.

Requirements

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental remediation.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing remediation projects.

  • Experience with hazardous waste management and soil and groundwater remediation.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.

Certifications:

  • OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification.

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
