Overview:

Join our dynamic IT support team as an Onsite IT Support Engineer in Oakland, CA. You will be the primary point of contact for all IT-related issues, providing top-tier support to our employees. This role demands strong technical expertise, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manning the tech bar and resolving IT issues promptly.

• Providing Tier 1 support for Mac systems, with minimal Windows and Chrome device support as needed.

• Managing tickets efficiently using Jira as the main ticketing system.

• Supporting Okta for identity and access management.

• Engaging with users in a customer-facing manner to deliver exceptional service.

• Collaborating with the global IT team located in London and Charlotte.

• Interacting with senior leadership, including the CEO, with empathy and professionalism.

• Participating in the Zoom roundtable interview process.

  Requirements

Technical Skills Required:

• Strong proficiency in MacOS support and troubleshooting.

• Experience with JAMF for Mac device management.

• Familiarity with Okta for identity and access management.

• Basic knowledge of G Suite, Slack, and Zoom.

Technical Skills Nice to Have:

• Experience with Azure for managing Windows devices.

• Familiarity with Chrome devices and their management.

Soft Skills Required:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Customer-centric approach with a strong focus on user satisfaction.

• Teachability and willingness to learn new technologies.

Certifications:

• A+ certification is advantageous.
