Sutter Health Technical Analyst II, Voice/Telecom Implementation in Oakland, California

Position Overview:

Supports technical standards and testing of Sutter Health policies, systems, and applications. Performs moderately complex technical analysis, design, support, implementation, and project management for technology related activities. Provides a variety of training services for Sutter Health employees by assisting in the education process for technical application systems. Prepares presentations and participates in workflow analysis related to training, and may conduct special training courses related to technical services.

EDUCATION:

Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

  • Associate's: Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent education/experience

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-year of recent relevant experience.

  • Experience with Cisco UCCM/UCCE

  • Project Management Lifecycle: Project Planning & Coordination, Risk Management, Conflict resolution preferred

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Broad-based knowledge of telecommunications/Unified Communications design principles and implementation procedures.

  • Demonstrated mastery of industry-specific skills and comprehension, including Unified Communications terminology, equipment types, standard and customized features, and services available.

  • Advanced knowledge of assisting in the development of processes and procedures.

  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of information technology concepts.

  • Perform effectively in environments with frequent and fluctuating workload changes, competing demands, and frequent interruptions and/or distractions.

  • Set priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities and prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner.

  • Analyze information, problems, situations, practices, or procedures in order to identify patterns, tendencies, and relationships resulting in the formulation of logical and objective conclusions.

  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with audiences across all areas and levels within Sutter Health as well as external organizations.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, fractions, and decimals without the aid of a calculator.

  • Speak clearly and distinctly using appropriate vocabulary and grammar to obtain information and explain technical information.

  • Focus on customer service that informs all actions and decisions.

  • Make presentations to persuade others to accept a specific opinion or action, or to provide information and instruction.

Pay Range is $42.08 to $63.13 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
