\$19.28 per Hour. Temporary and Full-time, Equipment Operators needed at South Hills Stones Processing Facility in Oakley, Id. Two openings from October 1^st^ 2024-February 15^th^ 2025. This Job is Full-time and Temporary.

Applicant must be of strong physical character, and display strength and dexterity in both arms and hands, exhibit trunk strength using abdominal and lower back muscles continually over time, as well as be able to spend the majority of the workday standing, walking, and driving without giving out. Repeated heavy lifting is required. Position requires the ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions with exactness and integrity. No experience or prior training/education required. Operators are trained and supervised by production manager. Employees will work indoors and outdoors. Each operator will be responsible for using machine mounted forks to move raw material from storage bins to processing area and finished palletized material from the processing area to storage areas.

Job Duty Process

  • Use forks to lift and move materials to processing areas, organize the materials for hand processors. Occasionally use Bars and hand labor to load the forks or maneuver the material for processors.
  • Using forks to move completed pallets to storage areas or trucks.
  • Sorting finished pallets according to tags and labels and keeping an organized storage area.

Employees are required to follow established safety program including use of safety glasses, steel toed boots, protective gloves, and hearing protection. All PPE provided by employer.

Minimum hourly wage of \$19.28, normal working hours are Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm. 40 hours per week, overtime may be offered, at the rate of \$28.92 per hour, but not required. Hours are tracked weekly and wages are computed using a single workweek as the standard. Workers will be paid every two weeks. All deductions from the workers paycheck required by law will be made. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.

Job duration is anticipated to be October 1^st^ 2024-February 15^th^ 2025. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each twelve-week period of the total employment period.

H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees not paid directly by the employer including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).

Transportation (including meals and to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed at a rate of \$15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of \$59.00 per day with receipts, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer.
